For my Friend Frank...

I made this card for my good friend Frank. He is such a caring, supportive friend and when I got this image in a swap I instantly thought of him. Frank I hope you like this one.

Showers of Love

Thanks again stampingtink for this image. I thought this is cute card for a bridal shower. You can't see it but in the bkg. I versa marked little hearts so it looks like it is raining hearts.

Garden Bella

I got this image in a swap as well. The Bella stamps are all so cute and fun to color.

Mouse in Mug

I got this image in a swap as well. I am not crazy about the house mouse stamps but they are really fun to paint. Most of them are pretty detailed images. For me the more detailed the better. The fun part for me is painting them.

Too cute...

This image is so adorable. I got it in a swap I believe it is by Whipper Snapper. Not only is it cute it cracks me up too. The bubbles I used stickles to give it sparkle not sure if you can see it. The image I water colored using my SU! Watercolor Crayons.

Princess...

I got this princess image from stampingtink...check out her blog http://stampingtink.blogspot.com/ thanks girl for the image it is adorable

Cat and Mouse

I fortunately got to go to a crop this weekend so I have some new things to share with you. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

My Easter Present from my Dad...

My dad got me this stamp for Easter. I have been eyeing it in Michaels for a long time...I guess great minds think alike. Thanks Daddy I love it!!

Wishing you happiness...

This is one of my favorite stamp sets by SU! I am not sure of the name of it...it is my friends set that I might just have to get for myself someday. I really love coloring this. I use my SU! Watercolor crayons for all my water coloring. The background I used two different cuttlebug templates.

Embrace Happiness...

Here is another card using the Boy on the Beach. I love painting this one. I used my new cuttlebug template for this card too...I again dragged my ink pad on top to make it stand out a bit more. I definetly think this template is very versatile and will be using it a lot.

Birthday Card...

I got this image in a swap I think it is adorable! I believe it is by Whipper Snapper. Those are my favorite stamps. They are all just so cute!

Age is only a number...

I got to use my new cuttlebug template on this card. I love the numbers in the background. This is great for any age b-day card. I ran my ink pad over the numbers so they would stand out more.

Enjoy the moment...

I just loved this little boy on the beach...he was so cute. This would be great for almost any occassion.

Happy Birthday to me!!

My dog Mandy is just so good to me...I don't know how she does it but she seemed to place an order online for some stamps for my b-day :) I received one on friday that is sooooo cute. But I think a few are coming today in the mail...can't wait to see what she got ;)

Good News!!

A very nice man I work with saw my cards and asked for a few to take to see if he can get them in some stores. Turns out he has two stores that agreed to try me out. He left them samples. I had given him a tote for one of the sets and he wanted more...so I made this tote. Here is a card tote I made real quick while on lunch. I saw a similar one on SCS (I am sorry I don't know the name of the person...if I find it I will be sure to post her name for credit). Ok found it...it was a bag done by Beate check out her stuff it is amazing! Thanks beate for sharing...http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/813961?cat=12356&si=lunch%20bag
P.S. This cute little tote can also be used as a small gift bag. Perfect if you are giving someone jewlery like earrings or something.

Nothing new...yet

Well I haven't made any new cards this weekend but I did a lot of watercoloring so I have a bunch to make. I like the painting part best. I find it relaxing. I got this really cute stamp yesterday...I know it is a little early for thanksgiving but it is a turkey that just cracks me up every time I see it...He is holding a sign that says...Eat Ham. HAAAAAAAAAAAAA to funny. Thank God for coupons. LOL.

So hopefully sometime this week I will have some new things posted. Thanks for checking out my site. It is nice to hear what people think so thanks for the comments too I appreciate it :)

Have a great Day!

Happy Birthday...

Another card I made using left over scraps. I love the vibrant colors.

Generic...

This is a generic card that can be used for anything...thank you, birthdays, thinking of you...etc. I made this so long ago I don't know the names of the stamps. Sorry about that.

Thank You...

I made this Thank You card out of scarps I had. The sentiment I used pop up dots to make it stand out a little.

Friendship & Smile Card...

I made these cards a few years ago...I used a green cardstock that matched the patterned paper and tore both sides and inkied the edges. The Smile card was done the same way but with the sentiment at the bottom. I added a little ribbon and button for something a little extra :)

Sneak Peek at Xmas cards ;)

This Stamp is by C.C. Designs from http://www.allthatscraps.com/ I just love this reindeer... All I did for this card was I cuttle bugged the bkg. with my snowflake template. The cardstock has a white core so I just took some sandpaper and rubbed away some of the color highlighting the snowflakes. The images I used my SU! watercolor crayons and some stickles for some bling.

Good Morning...

Good morning. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my cards/projects. I haven't had a chance to work on anything this weekend but I plan on doing some stuff tonight so hopefully I will have something new to post tomorrow or wed. Check back soon.

Guess who...

Guess who that is....yep me! LOL
I thought I would share some of my scrapbook pages as well as my cards and other projects. On this layout I had changed the photo to a sepia tone and then I used some ink to age it a little more as well as all the edges on the pattern paper. I did this layout a long time ago so I don't remember who makes this paper. I added some cute little baby charms too.

Birthday Wishes

I made this card for a swap I am in. The bkg. I did using my cuttle bug (again) LOL. I used the sentiment from Papertrey Ink...Mini Messages. Awesome set...42 messages perfect for card making.

Another Card Tote...

Such an awesome way to give a card set gift. I love it. Very fast and very easy to do. See directions and link to tutorial below. I will defiently be making more of these.

Card Tote

This is the tote that goes with the card set. Basically the directions are...

Cut cardstock 5 3/4" by 11"

On the long edge score 3/4"
Then score in at 5 1/4", 6 1/2" and at 10 1/2"

On the 1/2 inch area cut away the little tag piece at the bottom...then you can decorate the panels fold in and adhere the seams closed with glue.

Here is the tutorial...http://leslierich.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/2007/07/30/ruby-tuesday-stellas-tote-n-tutorial/
Thanks Leslie for sharing!!
See her awesome blog!

Card Set

I made this tote using the tutorial on SCS (under resources) it was so quick and easy to make...I made matching cards to go with it. It is great for a gift set.

Happy Easter

Here are some easter cards I made for my family. The backgrounds on all these cards I used my cuttle bug for...I am addicted to that thing. The bunnies I watercolored using my SU! Watercolor crayons (I don't know how I lived without these things LOL). Other than that I used my flowers and Robins Nest Dew drops for the centers. I just love these bunnies. Wish I had this stamp.

Cancer Survivor Card...

I made a few of these cards for a girl on SCS who has a goal to collect 15 cards from every state for a relay race for cancer survivors... See Below for details...if you would like to participate you can email and I will give you the link to her address to send the cards to.

The first lap of the Relay is dedicated as the Survivor Lap. The cancer survivors wear purple shirts and walk their lap while their names are read over the speaker system as they are cheered by the crowd! Each year cards are given to the survivors as they are about to cross under the balloon arches to start the lap! This year I had a different idea...the theme for the Relay is Hometown,USA...Color the Town Purple. What better way to celebrate Hometown, USA then to try to have inspirational, hope-filled handmade cards from every state in the USA?!!! From your Hometown to Mine! I am hoping to gather at least 15 cards from every state in the USA by May 15, 2008! If you would like to help out, there are at least 700 survivors who will cherish your card as it is handed to them. If you would include the name and state of your hometown on the back of your card that would be appreciated. You are welcome to include other information such as name and address if you feel comfortable. Often our survivors send thank you notes after receiving their cards.

Make a Child Smile...

I just saw a post on SCS that someone had a link to this site...www.makeachildsmile.org
If anyone is interested take a look at the site...it is children who are ill and you can send cards to them to brighten their day. There is no commitment just if you feel like it you can go click on a child, read their story and send them a card. This card I am sending to Cheyenne. She is 7 1/2 years old and was given 12 months to live. Her b-day is March 13th and she made it past the 12 months. This is a special birthday for her so if you have any cards already made or if you would like to make a new one you can send it to her at...

Just because

I got this image in a swap...I know it is by Whipper Snapper (my favorite stamp co.) but not sure the name. It is just so cute. Fun card to make. I am trying to embellish more...the more I embellish the harder it is for me to want to give them away...I get attached ;)
